Tbh if people would stop buying betas from those stores, those stores wouldn't sell them. We need to educate each other.
Give him a larger tank 20 gallon plus and some compatible community fish and he will be happier

Man there's a samurai betta at petco that I've been seeing over the last week or so. I think I'm gonna go back and get em' he looks extra miserable.

Been saving bettas with my niece. We have fatty and chili fart. She picked the names and fish. Nothing better than helping others.
