WHAT IS A CLEAN TANK?
FATHER FISH explains the basics of a clean fish tank. A clean tank does not mean constantly cleaning. It is not natural and upsets the fish. Think of clean as healthy. What will make the tank healthier? Father Fish has discovered many ways we can increase the health of our aquariums. Join him and the Shoal on this journey to finding nature in our aquariums.

Thank you it was very helpful
side question, how about topping up the tank water, as it will get evaporate after some days? For I using tap water than left it for one day or so than pour to top up the tank water. Is ok?
I have a very small tank I think is 24 litres. my platey died yesterday. Her name was Rosie (cos of her rosy cheeks). she lived just over 2 years but I think it's because I didn't change the water enough. I saw her yesterday struggling to breathe but I didn't know what to do.
Still got the two danios left. Max and Blacky.
Max is called that cos he's kinda big and is head honcho of the tank. Blacky is very light coloured such a pretty shimmery type of colour. But she has dark spots on her so got her name.
I dug a wee hole for Rosie in my back yard. She meant something to me. Call me crazy but somehow these tiny little fish are so important.
In this ogranic aquarium , there would be plenty of algae growth in the fish tank glass right ? so how one should approach the unclear fish tank glass ?
Thank for knowledge father fish!!
How do I know if I am using the right sand and dirt?
I subscribed to your channel after 5 mins of you talking. I've been watching many many videos for fish tank for beginners, and I'm very confused and a little discouraged to start a fish tank. thank you god for directing me toward your videos and I can confidently say that I am no longer afraid to start after watching your videos. you're my hero…
Is the as revenant for a Betta fish and 1 mystery nail in a 5 gallon? It seems like he is mostly talking about community tanks.
Do you still give them oxygen? I only have guppies for now. Planning to add more variety eventually
I have two tanks based on @fatherfish on natural tank. I have good result in growing plants and community of discus, angels and sea angels and all works perfect .. one year and no water change .. great result .. all thanks to you.
One question
Can we top up amazona sand in my tank to add more plants
Unfortunately, I already have gravel and water in the tank. Is it too late to add sand?
The only thing I do is scrape my glass
So I just had to let the microscopic animals that were floating scatter and eat the leftovers of the fish food in the aquarium
Wow…. that's all I can say.
I dit not clean my tank for about 5 years. And it is clean at all, the tank, the water. No water change. No chemicals. Some hydroponic.
My grandad isn’t as mobile as he used to be and for years I’d be suggested to try and make a natural tank! After showing him this video he wants to try it! Thankyou very much for the guide we’re both grateful 🙏
hi father fish are you a hippie psychedelics 1960s. you are so peacefull 🌱🐠
So I can do the same thing with a small bowl fish aquarium .?
Someone pored a gallon of bleach in my aquarium all good due to fathers advice!
Mud
Sand
Plants
But what kind?
Sand from the beach rinsed with water?.
Grass from outside?
I don't even know where can you find Mud..
Will this method work on fresh water aquariums? 😊😊
