I want to add some Apistogramma but seeing as this tank will need to be taken apart soon because of the move, I think It’s best to wait until it’s set up again.

I absolutely agree with your son, instead of a boring "vampire" get a few really cool VAMPIRES 😀 go for VAMPIRE CRAB and any other Crab you can get 😀

You should get albino clawed frogs! They have as much or more personality as a betta in my experience and are drop dead easy to care for. When I was a newbie I abused one and didn't even have a filter with it for years and it seemed perfectly happy lol. I believe it was in a 30g

Have you thought about the planted turtle aquarium that I mentioned in the last video
The "gold ones" are sturgeon, and you should definitely get a musk turtle, their amazing pets, and if you do get crabs, do allot of studying because most species they sell are actually brackish water.
For the gold fish tank what plants do you use I couldn’t hear what they were called and the tanked look insane
