*This video is not intended to promote animal abuse or cruelty. I just wanted to share something commonly seen here in Japan as a leisure or a familial activity, not to hurt anyone's feelings about Nature or animals' lives that I deeply respect. Let's keep walking ๐ฆ!!
I knew as soon as I saw the aquarium there will be comments about animal cruelty. Just keep in mind there are also aquariums/zoos that accept rehabilitated wounded animals that won't survive if they were to be released back to the wild. It makes me laugh people dare to demand Rion to change or re-edit the video. There are too many naive people thinking they're pro animal when their existence themselves is already a threat to the animal (yes, just u being alive, wearing clothes, using plastic, etc). Just ignore them, Rion. This channel/video is about travel. If u don't like aquarium, then please enjoy the other videos. People have the right to like

FYI, we have animal shoes all over the USA. Sea World and animal parks all have simliar shows. I think most people feel that if the animals are treated well, it's fine. I have been to animal parks all over America, but we had many in California

The brutal dolphin drive hunt and bloody slaughter of dolphins happens every year in Taiji Japan. This is the shame of Japan. you can't eat meat because you said you're a vegan, but you can wear leather shoes, leather things, fur, etc. And judge the vlogger, stop using anything with animal parts before saying stop animal cruelty. I am Japanese. Dolphin shows started in Japan in 1957 and have long been a popular form of entertainment for Japanese families in aquariums. However, this may change in the future due to animal protection laws. When that happens, most Japanese people will be willing to follow the rules. Rion does not promote animal abuse. As you all know, he is not such a person. He has no intention to promote animal abuse. It is very dangerous and unacceptable to misunderstand him by watching some scenes in this video, and to make such comments and call for people not to subscribe to them in such a public forum.

A boat tour in Hawaii is better for seeing dolphins and whales.
Most animals in zoos or aquariums are rescue animals so don't feel too bad.
I remember seeing a killer whale at the SeaWorld in Florida during the late 90s, but they are way too big to be in captivity.

I became a fan of yours, but I cannot recommend this video. These parks make fortune on animal cruelty. They are usually captured in the wild and work everyday literally for food only for human entertainment.
Hello Rion, Really loved this video, one of your best yet I'd say..I really love the aqua park, reminds me of when I went to one like that, but without the viking ship (must say reminds me of when I was little went on one, great ride, very fast, goes high), seeing all those fish was amazing Rion and I particularly loved the dolphins they are so cleaved and super smart, some of the things they can do amazing. The Aquarium where I live in the US is $43-53 per adult for a one-day admission. I appreciate that Tokyo has more affordable prices for the public.

Thank you for your videos, Rion! They are very helpful and entertaining and lets keep going for them.
But I can't agree with visiting Seaworld. Dolphins and orcas shouldn't be held in captivity, it brings them so much pain, grief and trauma and it's not worth it. We can watch these fantastic creatures in documentaries, but I think we should move on from these inhumane practices and not give the parks any money so it doesn't bring more trauma to poor animals.

I went to Aqua park during my first visit to Japan, the best part was it was snowing when i walked out of the aquarium. It was my first time seeing snow so it was very memorable!
The last dolphin show I went to was at Shedd's Aquarium in Chicago. This one looked fun, too! There's so much to do in Tokyo, rain or shine!
