So was like Octopus was trying to escape the tank? Did the child reach inside the tank to touch it? Report doesn't state that at all. Are people crafting stories just to blame mother and don't care about why such huge octopuses were in open tank in first place?
Anyways, glad the child's okay. What the heck is touch tanks? I am hearing it for first time and instantly dislike it. It's stupid.

God this woman is stupid. She lifted her kid up into the tank, then blames the zoo. The octopus wasn't in a touch tank, so the news is either wrong or were lied to. Pretty easy to realize it isn't a touch tank because of the tall barrier keeping you away from the octopus. "Journalism" in 2025…

I have a 6 year old son as well. If you're going to invade an intelligent animal in its domain, which was imposed on him by his humans, then you should be reasonable enough to expect the same done to you by the same animal you are man handling. If you can freely touch him, he should be able to touch you, no?
