I have to admit that what you did sounded really cool and all assuming this hasn’t all been staged, but if this is real you didn’t exactly solve the problem, only you created a brand new one. Don’t get me wrong I definitely do not condone what those other people were doing and as someone who has always loved and obsessed over sharks and it breaks my heart of what they were doing, I still have to say that this wasn’t the best idea. First of all those sharks have been bred and have lived their whole life so far in captivity meaning they have exactly no idea how to hunt let alone any of the other things necessary to survive in the wild. Also again since they have been living in captive they are used to living in waters that have always been regulated by people. It is actually quite different from actual ocean water so just suddenly letting them loose instead of letting them gradually change will also make it harder to survive. There are a good many other points I would’ve liked to bring up and there are even more that I may not be aware of since I’m not a marine biologist, I will just say I’d be surprised if they last a day. The better option if you wanted them to grow up would be to try and contact a marine rescue to help and put them maybe in another aquarium where they won’t be abused, but I do understand how hard that would be. Life is very cruel, and I really hate it.

I don’t disagree with the message, but this is so fake…there are enough egregious actions happening to sharks, other fishes, and cetaceans in the wild that this doesn’t need to be faked for clicks.
If it has been abandoned, then why are the filters still running, the water hasn’t evaporated, and they look like really healthy young sharks???
Side note and real question: would it actually make sense to have a “shark farm” for how old they need to get and all of the care/food to make it actually lucrative for anyone?
