I followed it to the book but the water keeps getting dirty after 3 days despite having a good cap. Then most fishes died off except the loaches and shrimps and snails. Then the plants also started dying. Don’t know what I’m getting wrong . Pls help
100 plants at 6 to 8 dollars each… lol.
Should I keep a heater in my natural tank I'm just starting out with a 5 gallon
Love the vids and I am setting up my tank right now. Have the soil and sand combo going and will be adding the plants soon. I have seen some conflicting vids about the pond water. No worries about pulling weird stuff into the tank…..dragonfly and mosquito larvae?
Let the tank cycle LONGER than a few days. I always let my tanks cycle for a week minimum before adding fish
What kinda dirt are we talking? Soil? Mud? Black earth?
Am I supposed to put any of the stuff for the water in there?
What kind of “dirt” are we putting in here?
I tried the lake leaf tip and now my tank is full of worms😢
Can I put a fish in immediately after I have the filter and plants in ?
Plants are so expensive…
100 plants…..thats like 600.00 in plants. I'm setting up a 55 gallon tank
