Wow – I thought I was watching an ad for the place! Very professionally done!
Grr comment didn't go through. Disappointed. Gave some cool facts abt shark tails, spinal columns, "heterocercal" tails, seahorses (males collect fertilized eggs in their pouch), and that when I was a kid, watching oodles of hours of Nature, I was unaware of the job titles Wildlife Biologist, Marine Biologist, & Zoologist (rhymes w/ "no-ologist" if that were a real thing–it's just not pronounced "zoo-ologist") until I saw the job title when I was maybe 15-16. So, those degrees & professions exist! Prior to that discovery, mentioning a desire to work w/ animals always meant "oh, you want to be a vet?" Anyhow, if Hope's still interested in animals in a few yrs & contemplating college, I recommend sticking it out to at least a Master's. I have my Bachelor's in Wildlife Science, & it doesn't quite get you far enough to REALLY work in that field. In the meantime, since she still likes equestrian stuff, I like all that join-up/gentling stuff, & the TV series Heartland is a family show where much of it is abt horses. Anyhow, there are plenty of choices for Hope when it comes closer to deciding what she wants to do in this life (BTW, has Clare settled on a major since it was lat mentioned? I know early education was on the table & then she wasn't too sure abt that, so any other potential majors?)

That is cool that you have that there. Here we have the Sea life center in Seward. The schools take all the 3rd graders there for an over night trip and the kids sleep under one of those surround domes.

Looks like you guys had a fun day out at the aquarium. We have a really nice aquarium here in Tulsa, OK but it is pretty pricey. I think it is like $20 per person the last time I was there.
