This was fun to make and Mike seems really at home in the Ikebana Betta cube tank. This weekend (if there are no problems) 4ft Aquarium Build. The Aquatic plants are going in as we speak! Can’t wait for that one!!

U should make a tank has a volcano and another 1 that has lava ON the outside
U should get a drone So that u can Show US the whole inside of the tank
Imagine getting a heart from MD fish tanks๐๐ค๐ฌ
So nice when you add clips of your kids/family, it makes your videos look more realistic as you combine family-work-hobby. Love watching your videos Iโve learned so much keep filming looking forward to what youโre up to next โฅ๏ธ
Great Success!!
I accompany you from Brazil, very good your channel!
Thought that "massive piece of wood" was a dead dog ๐ ๐
How do you know when you can do less than 50% water changes for brand new tanks
over the moon happy you're getting more into shrimpy things, yay…I"M EXCITED!!!!!
You are such a good dad.
For kids, and for fishes either. ๐
New subscriber here. I am doing my first aquascaping tank today. Thanks for the inspiration!
Quick question: is it possible to make an aquarium where the fish eat the plants and theres no need to feed the fish? Maybe with the idea of no filter, it could be a self sufficient ecosystem! Thanks!
Are you related to jhonny sins?
First thought: I love the shrimps' color– it goes well with the blue of the bowls! Second thought: What kind of beta is Mike? The flowy-finned betas are beautiful, but I really like this one– he reminds me of some of the koi I saw in the channels lining the streets of the old samurai villages in Japan (hundreds of years ago, the old koi in their 3-foot-deep stone channels were the garbage disposals of kitchen scraps for the residents of the nicer houses; these are their descendants, and they're very protected as treasures.)
Hay md, you should get some Siamese algae eaters for ur tanks, i use them all the time wen i get algae and it a day or two its all gone plus they are super friendly with shimp
Do they eat diatom algae ?
Get a roll of painters plastic and some soap.let the games begin lol ๐
Loved the video.. Would you try a betta sorority tank?
This vlog went by super quick, loved it man
Come on MD we didnโt see you slide across slip/slide. We need update. ๐๐ป๐๐ป
Great tank and video! Just started a 3 gallon planted bowl after inspiration watching all your videos on them. It's looking great. Do you have any videos on lighting for small planted tanks? What bulbs do you use with the desk lamps you put with a lot of the smaller tanks? Thanks for the awesome videos ๐
Ee-keh-bana ๐
ee-keh-bah-nah

I speak Japanese, it was my minor in university.
That piece of wood at 3:07 looks like a dachshund sausage dog. ๐ โค๏ธ๐ฌ๐ง
Its pronounced "ee-KAY-bahn-ah" just an fyi ๐
You should do a day from the fish's view? Like get a gopro and have it record what you do in a day from inside the fish tank looking out. Imagine having the fish swim in front of the camera as your busy working haha that'll be really cool especially from the view of the angel aquarium!
im liking the wavy music

oh-yeah…my bellybutton!
Hey MD, how often should I clean substrate of my really well planted tank?
You're actually Aquaman's cousin, aren't you? Even when you're not messing about with fish in water, you're messing about with water, lol.
amazing video..u have so cute and beautiful family.. all tanks looks amazing . you have huge stock of tropica plants..new scape coming ..wow. so excited
Is the temperature in the studio regulated? Trying to work out if I could do a no filter, no heater setup for some shrimp but I'm worried about night time temperature drops
That ikebana looks lovely man, well done!
Where's Pancho? Haven't seen her for a long time, is she okay?
Your betta's cool. Mine's a psycho. He's a koi plakat also. He's looking at me right now and it's making me feel uneasy. I don't like having my back to him. ๐คจ๐
Can you put Turkish subtitles?
5:36 who all know Manny Khoshbin๐
Ha ha, you finally pronounced it correctly. I'm assuming the shrimp aren't salt water?
This might just be top shelf MD Fish Tanks content. I love the format, man. Good balance, cadence, music, content, all of it. Keep it up!
MD hanging out with his kids:
Me and the boys!
Mike do be lookin pretty fresh doe.
Amano shrimp can slightly change colour depending on what you feed them! Mine become a bit more reddish because of all the bloodworms๐
Hey MD when are you going to start the boys off with their own scaping??
Can you imagine how many subscribers they'd have… lol
MD Junior Vlogs
The fact head and shoulders styling gel ad before the vid is pretty ironic
Oh no no
Love watching your channel and it's funny, I keep ending up with many similarities: my first fish ever was a koi betta much like yours- she's supposed to be female but she looks a lot like yours and tbh I'm starting to wonder if she is really a he, lol. And now you have blue diamonds- me too! I've only got 4 in my toad/shrimp tank right now but plan on getting a separate colony at some point- look forward to seeing your setup for them!
i would buy that tank but i live in the us, sad days
Unrelated, but Iโm going to try a second nano tank and I canโt decide between a 3 gallon bowl or rimless cube๐ค anyone have any suggestions? Do fish prefer one over the other? Pros and cons?
