🦈🐬🐠 OSAKA AQUARIUM KAIYUKAN, 大阪市, 日本, OSAKA JAPAN, WALKING TOUR, LARGEST AQUARIUM IN THE WORLD, WHALE SHARKS, 4K, HDR, Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan is one of the largest and most impressive aquariums in the world. It offers a variety of attractions that make it a must-visit destination. Here are some of the top attractions at the Osaka Aquarium:

Pacific Ocean Tank:

The centerpiece of the aquarium, this massive tank is home to a variety of marine life, including the famous whale sharks, the largest fish species in the world. Watching these gentle giants swim gracefully around is a highlight for many visitors.

Jellyfish Exhibits:

The jellyfish exhibit showcases a wide variety of these fascinating creatures, from the ethereal moon jellyfish to the colorful and mesmerizing species. The exhibit is beautifully lit, creating a surreal and calming experience.

Interactive Touch Pools:

Located near the entrance, the touch pools allow visitors to interact with some of the marine creatures, such as rays and small sharks. It’s a hands-on experience that’s especially popular with children.

Antarctica Zone:

This zone features adorable penguins, including king and gentoo penguins. The exhibit is designed to replicate the cold environment of Antarctica, and watching the penguins waddle and swim is a charming experience.

Great Barrier Reef:

This exhibit showcases the vibrant and diverse marine life found in the Great Barrier Reef. The colorful coral and fish species are displayed in a beautifully recreated reef environment, offering a glimpse into one of the world’s most famous natural wonders.

Japan Forest:

This exhibit highlights the unique wildlife of Japan’s forests, including otters, salamanders, and other native species. The lush greenery and serene water features make it a peaceful and educational experience.

Sea Otters:

The sea otters are a favorite among visitors. These playful and curious animals are known for their acrobatic swimming and endearing behaviors, such as floating on their backs while eating.

Pacific Ocean Tunnel:

This underwater tunnel allows visitors to walk through the Pacific Ocean tank, providing a 360-degree view of the marine life, including rays, sharks, and other large fish species. It’s a unique and immersive experience that makes you feel like you’re walking on the ocean floor.

Sunset Viewing Area:

Located on the top floor of the aquarium, this area offers stunning views of Osaka Bay and the city’s skyline, particularly beautiful during sunset. It’s a great spot to relax and take in the scenery after exploring the exhibits.

Night Aquarium:

The aquarium offers a special “Night Aquarium” experience where the lighting is adjusted to simulate the nocturnal behaviors of the marine animals. This creates a magical atmosphere, as the tanks are illuminated in soft, glowing lights.

These attractions, combined with the aquarium’s impressive design and commitment to conservation, make Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan a standout destination for visitors of all ages.

A whale shark should not be enclosed in a space like that – free the whale shark!

The red cross wasn't started in Africa! They had a bunch of actors recreate our stuff after it was deleted and when reporters show up they do it just in case in some cases and the attitudes they have with you like they are somebody. Then they wait so much time and never air it and destroy traces of it. I was a fundraiser for the red cross and they all think it is cute that the press conference we had in the 70s where we stated that we did not want to do any more work with any below developing nations. People need to send me the red cross funds up here and set them up….we might need to get a list of charities and include theirs for people to donate money to particular locations and keep a log and large container for the donations in back and then they can go pick them up.

Too sad to see that Japan China and all other Asian countries just didn't learn from the European and American ppl that it is such a cruel thing to keep marine animals in captivity.
